Under the matte black surface of the DarkGlider operations an enhanced version of the Avago 9500 laser sensor, which supports up to 6,000 DPI and a maximum of 11,750 FPS. The current DPI number in use is indicated by a LC display. All ten buttons on the gaming mouse are fully programmable.

With the 256 KB of onboard memory, several different user profiles can be created and easily used on another computer. The DarkGlider floats on special, lenticular ceramic glide feet and offers a Weight Tuning System in order to adjust the overall weight.
