The M8000X by Gigabyte uses a Laser sensor from Avago, specifically the ADNS-9500, providing a DPI/CPI range of 800/1600/3200/5600 dpi, software enhanced up to 6000dpi. This results in a tracking speed of 150 inches/second, and a maximum acceleration of 30g. It uses a USB, gold plated connection with a 1.8m nylon braided cable.
